In honor of September being National Workforce Development Month, the WDB is hosting the Celebrating Solano’s Workforce awards night on Sept. 13 at Travis Credit Union in Vacaville. This event will honor and celebrate ‘Workforce Heroes’ – the businesses, job seekers and employees, and community partners who support and exemplify workforce efforts in Solano County.
The community is invited to submit nominations for our six awards – Large Business, Small Business, Microbusiness, Adult and Young Adult Job Seekers, and Workforce Partner. All nominees must live in or be based in Solano County. WDB staff are encouraged to participate! Please also share this information with your own network. We want to cast a wide net and have a wonderful representation of our workforce community at the Sept. 13 event. All nominations must be received by Aug. 11, 2023, at 3 pm.
