On February 7th, 2025, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of Punch with a Purpose, a new boxing studio in Fairfield, CA. The event, filled with excitement and strong community support, marked an important milestone not just for the business but for the growth of our local economy.

A Business Rooted in Community Impact

Punch with a Purpose is more than just a gym—it’s a space dedicated to empowering individuals of all fitness levels through the art of boxing, helping them build strength and confidence one punch at a time. Owner Tyler shared how boxing transformed his life and how he now gives back by mentoring youth, including his work with the Vallejo Police Activities League (PAL), where he offers boxing training at no cost to families.

The studio’s impact is already being felt. Fae, a longtime member, joined the gym six years ago with no prior boxing experience. Through training, she gained confidence, developed discipline, and now teaches Women’s Boxing classes twice a month—a testament to how this business helps individuals grow both inside and outside the ring.

A Growing Business Community

Tina Fowler, SHCC Parliamentarian, emphasized the significance of this opening:

"Punch with a Purpose has a strong base of loyal clients, and I think this new location will only add visibility and excitement about their programming."

She also noted that every new business opening reflects the health of the surrounding community, adding:

"The shift of the mall from being primarily retail-focused to including service-based businesses like this shows that Fairfield is ready for the transition needed to continue growing."
