They will also share upcoming outreach events as well as a few VA training resources for start-up companies.\n\n\n\nNov. 2nd: Certifications Overview for Veteran Owned Businesses\n\n \nAs a veteran-owned business you may qualify for certifications that give you a leg up in the government marketplace and increase your chances of winning more contracts!\n\nGetting certified allows your veteran-owned business to compete for special "set-aside" contracts with limited competition. These certifications include Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) with the State of California\, and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with the U.S. federal government.\nNov. 3rd: I'm DVBE Certified\, Now What?\n\n\n\nAs a small business\, you are not too small to land a contract.
